Nurturing communities

DLSHSI is also mindful of its role in the community. Beside its increasing charity beds and charity health services at DLSUMC, DLSHSI manages, together with DLSU-D, the Bahay Pag-asa, a center that gives new hope and opportunities for children in conflict with the law. Recently, DLSHSI also broke grounds for the Maison De La Salle, an assisted residential facility for  the De La Salle Brothers and the Hospicio De La Salle, a home for the terminally-ill destitutes, with a separate facility for the Clergy of the Diocese of Imus.

With the rapid developments it has initiated in the past years, DLSHSI is well on its way towards accomplishing its vision of a De La Salle Health Sciences Institute that is a world class, God-centered health institution committed to achieving the highest quality of life and equity in health for our people.
