The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Academics in partnership with the Romeo P. Ariniego, MD, AFSC Library hosted the first Tea and Substance with the VCA on November 20, 2019 at the Learning Commons, Ground Floor, RPAMDAFSC Library. This quarterly engagement is an open and informal opportunity where Deans, Directors, administrators, Academic Teaching and Service Faculty, Non-Teaching Personnel, and students could talk about the news and updates about the Academics. Vice Chancellor for Academics Juanito O. Cabanias, LPT, MAE, PhD discussed the recent achievements of the Academics, specifically the granting of autonomous status by the Commission on Higher Education and the associate membership to ASEAN University Network. He also answered questions from the audience about the recognition system for performing faculty, staff, and students and sustainability of academic achievements. Guests stayed after the event to catch-up with colleagues over afternoon tea.
