DLSHSI College of Nursing posts exemplary performance in licensure examinationsThe College of Nursing is recognized for its outstanding performance in the June 2017 licensure examinations. Ms. Miah Dela Cruz Bagaoisan, RN placed 7th in the said examination. DLSHSI recorded a passing percentage of 97.73% (43 out of 44 examinees), exceptionally higher than the national passing rate of 34%.Congratulations to the College of Nursing and to the new Lasallian nurses!

Programs of Academic Services Operations Committee, SY 2017-2018Academic Quality Management

  • Institutional Sustainability Assessment (ISA) Accreditation in SY 2017-2018
  • PAASCU Plans. The College of Nursing (Level III) and the College of Rehabilitation Sciences for its Physical Therapy program (Level II) accreditation is valid until November 2019 while the College of Medicine (Level III) accreditation ends on May 2019. Recently, the College of Medical Radiation Technology was granted Level I on March 2017 accreditation. With this, the AQM is planning to go for an accreditation in 2019 to level up/restore the accreditation of the different programs/colleges mentioned. This shall be in coordination with the different deans of the said colleges and the PAASCU institutional heads of the common areas.

Updates from the Twenty-fifth Academic Operations Committee (VCA Council) Meeting held on June 14, 2017

  • Revision of all General Education syllabi integrating the program outcomes per program
  • Officer-in-Charge during Saturdays. Alely S. Reyes, RN, MAN, PhD, Program Director for the College of Nursing Graduate Studies, shall be the OIC of the OVCA effective June 17, 2017 during Saturdays only.
  • Quality Management Practices across Academics Division. All are enjoined to observe AQM practices. Director Rowena Laygo of AQM shall send a communication relative to aforementioned practices. This includes all the forms used under the Academics Division.
  • On-line Evaluation and On-line Entrance Examinations. The Center for Innovative Education and Technology Integration headed by Director Marlon Gado shall study the possibility of making the evaluation and entrance examinations on-line. Reports shall be given to the Academic Operations Committee.
