MAJOR
- Services protecting Ethnicity
- Develops policies i.e. combined quality scheme for Majority and Minority Ethnic Nationals; strong sense of racial-ethnic awareness; and other mindful guidance / obligation and gender equality laws, while protecting their identity and free to exhibit their identity.
- Services protecting Religious Norms
- Provides House of Worship (Inter-faith room) to students who are under heterogeneous religious sector.
- Services protecting Gender Sensitivity
- Acts as first-line crisis advocates responding to gender issues and conflict.
- Services protecting Equal Opportunities for Person-With-Disabilities
- Checks the Institution if PWD-ready and compliant to signed national standards and implementing rules for PWDs.
MINOR
- Outreach Program and Learning Visits/ Cultural Visits to nearby areas/ institutions to enable the chair and staff to fully understand their cultures and beliefs.
REVIEW OF UNIT’S OFFERED SERVICES
As one of the new units under the Office of the Student Services, the first move was to establish communications to different offices, particularly General Services under Mr. James Antonio for the facilities that will cater to the needs of the Minority and Multicultural individuals / students. May this step acknowledges the needs of the future society.
