| ABOUT US
The De La Salle Health Sciences Institute Office of Alumni Affairs is an administrative office of the institution under the Vice Chancellor for Lasallian Mission and Linkages. This office serves as the major link between the administration and the various alumni associations, chapters, groups or clubs.
Its main functions are to:
A. Promote and maintain loyalty to the institution and its mission:
1. Lasallian identity
2. Institutional representative in the Alumni week and other alumni activities
B. Serve as the primary intermediary or liaison to carry the concerns of the alumni to the institution and vice versa. Therefore, it is in constant communications with Alumni Associations/Chapter/Clubs/Group presidents or representatives
C. Provide internal ancillary services for alumni
D. Promote greater and closer alumni-student interaction
E. Provide information or resource for jobs generation among alumni
F. Encourage resource generation and development from alumni through fund-raising activities for institutional concerns such as:
- Campus physical facilities/equipments
- Institutional programs – scholarships, student activities, faculty development as well as non-teaching staff activities
- University Medical Center Charity wards and OPD
The Office of Alumni Affairs also coordinates with institutional offices or other interest groups such as:
Deans of Colleges
Finance, Physical Plant and Resource Mobilization Office
Office of the Registrar
Institutional Communications Office
Student organizations through respective representatives
Faculty through the Faculty Club president
Non-teaching staff through designated representative
Lasallian Parents Organization
Human Resource Development
