ERNESTO A. CERDENA PhD, CRA, MS, RT (R)(CV)(CT), FAHRA, FACHE
Corporate Director of Radiology Services of Atlanticare Regional Medical Center, Atlantic City, New Jersey, USA

Dr. Cerdena is a nationally recognized and progressive healthcare operations leader with over 30 years of technical/leadership experience in the US. He has a proven track record in leading complex operational and strategic initiatives achieving desired outcomes and offering excellence in managing relationships among a diverse team of high profile physicians, board members, community members, and staff at
levels. Dr. Cerdena has extensive experience in financial and operational management including nursing staff, ancillary and support personnel, and demonstrated ability to succeed in a competitive, fast-paced environment utilizing transformational and transactional leadership styles and evidence-based practice management.

His leadership operations experiences include Planning, Business Development and Operations Administrator at Crystal Run Healthcare, Middletown, New York; Ambulatory Imaging Administrator at Stamford Hospital, Stamford, Connecticut; Director of Diagnostic Imaging Services at Health-Quest Poughkeepsie, New York; Director of Outpatient Services at Parkview Adventist Medical Center, Brunswick, Meine and Director of Radiology, Clinical Laboratory/Pathology, Noninvasive Cardiology, Cardiopulmonary, Coumadin Clinic and Neuro-diagnostic Services at Waterbury Hospital, Waterbury, Connecticut.

Currently, Dr Cerdena is the Corporate Director of Radiology Services of Atlanticare Regional Medical Center, Atlantic City, New Jersey, USA. He is also an Adjunct Professor of the Graduate Program in Radiologic Science at the University of Texas Medical Center Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas, USA

Dr. Cerdena is a proud Filipino Radiographer, Administrator, Academician and Public Speaker who received numerous recognition from numerous professional organizations in the US.
CORNELIO G. PADRE, RRT
Principal Radiographer in the Division of Radiological Sciences, Department of Vascular Interventional Radiology, Singapore General Hospital, Singapore

Cornelio Gutierrez Padre, fondly called as “Nhel”, was a graduate of Saint Louis University in Baguio City, Philippines, Batch 1987 with a Diploma in Radiologic Technology. In September 2015, he acquired his Bachelor of Science Honours Radiographic Studies from London South Bank University. Mr. Padre has been practicing Diagnostic Radiography for the last 32 years.

He acquired his clinical experience in Diagnostic Radiology and Computerized Imaging Institute at Makati Medical Center, Philippines. Since 2008, Mr. Padre have been continuously operating the Hybrid Angiography-CT system and embracing the challenge to develop and improve the Intra-arterial CT Angiography protocols and its imaging clinical application in Interventional Radiology.

Mr. Padre’s knowledge in Intra-arterial CT Angiography techniques and related sciences has been improved through recognition in different conferences in the local, regional and international scene. These Intra-Arterial CT Angiography techniques has been accepted and presented in the 16th International Society of Radiographers Radiological Technologists (ISRRT) World Congress held in Gold Coast, Australia last September 2010 and 18th International Society of Radiographers Radiological Technologists (ISRRT) World Congress Seoul South Korea 2016.

Mr. Padre was a recipient of the SINGHEALTH Health Manpower Development Plan Award in 2012 for Advanced Interventional Radiology Techniques for Oncology (Team-based) training at the National Cancer Center in Tokyo, Japan.

In addition, Mr. Padre was a co-author in a research article entitled, “Effective dose estimates for Cone Beam Computed Tomography in Interventional Radiology”, which was published in the July 2013 edition of European Radiology.

Mr. Padre have been involved in creating protocols on Intra-arterial CT angiography techniques used in Vascular Interventional procedures. Presently, he is undertaking a research entitled “Single Phase Intra-arterial CT Hepatic Angiography To Visualize Both Arterial Anatomy And Parenchyma Enhancement Of Vascular Intrahepatic Tumour ” as Primary Investigator.

Currently, Mr. Padre is the Principal Radiographer in the Division of Radiological Sciences, Department of Vascular Interventional Radiology, Singapore General Hospital.
MEZIE LAURENCE B. ORTIZ,RRT
Faculty of the College of Medical Imaging and Therapy, De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute, Dasmariñas City, Cavite, Philippines

Ms. Ortiz earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic Technology at De La Salle Medical and Health Science Institute. She started her career as a Radiation Therapy Technologist at the Makati Medical Center. Simultaneously, she rendered teaching responsibilities as a part time faculty at the College of Medical Imaging and Therapy of De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute and subsequently became a full time faculty

Ms. Ortiz represented the Philippines in the “Workshop on Developing Quality Framework to Enhance Patient Care in Diagnostic Radiology. This training was sponsored by the International Atomic Energy Agency. She also underwent training in Tomotherapy at the Makati Medical Center and went through the Radioisotope Technique Training Course-Medical administered by the Philippine Nuclear Research Institute.

At present, Ms. Ortiz is taking her Master in Radiological Sciences-Major in Multi-disciplinary Radiology at the Dongseo University in Busan, South Korea. She is one of the principal investigator in a breakthrough research entitled “An approach to 3 Dimensional reconstruction of Diabetic Foot using the Contact Based Near-Infrared Spectroscopy”


YOUNGJIN JUNG, PhD
Assistant Professor of the Department of Radiological Science, Division of Health Science, Dongseo University, Busan, Korea

Young-Jin Jung is an electronics engineer by profession. He acquired his degree at the Kumoh National University, Korea. YoungJin Jung started his interest in health when he took a Master of Science Degree Program in Medical & Biological Engineering at the Kyungpook National University,Korea and moved on to acquiring his Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical Engineering at Yonsei University, Korea.

He started his career as teaching assistant at Yonsei University and move on to be a Research Assistant Professor at the Research Institute of Industrial Science at Hanyang University Computational Neuro-Engineering Laboratory, Seoul, Korea. YoungJing Jung also took a Post-doctoral Associate in Biomedical Engineering at the Florida International University Optical Imaging Laboratory, Miami, Florida, USA and went on to assume a Director position at the Center for Advanced Rehabilitation Research & Education (CARE) at the College of Nursing and Health Science, Florida International University, Miami, Florida, USA.

Young-Jin Jung is a researcher specializing in medical imaging towards 3D tissue imaging, especially in breast cancer & superficial tissue imaging and dynamic image analysis using PET, CT, and MRI for clinical translation, neuro-rehabilitation, functional neuroimaging, brain signal analysis, multimodal neuroimaging, brain computer interface and design and implementation of biomedical instruments. He has undertaken numerous funded research projects that led to international patents.

Professor Young-Jin Jung has published his research papers in numerous peer-reviewed, SCOPUS indexed, SCI indexed and PubMed international journals including the Journal of Medical Imaging and Health informatics, American Scientific Publishers among many others. He also presented his research works in numerous international conferences in Asia, Europe and the North America among many other countries.

Young-Jin Jung has expert level skills in dynamic Imaging analysis using Positron Emission Tomography (PET) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) for clinical application, Matlab, C/C++, visual C# language and possess a strong programming and computation experiences. He was able to develop numerous hardware and software for health care applications such as Computation of Electric field due to Transracial Direct Current Simulation Toolbox (Comets Toolbox) and OptoNet Toolbox.

Currently, Professor Youg-Jin Jung is an Assistant Professor of the Department of Radiological Science, Division of Health Science, Dongseo University, Busan, Korea.
