Luke 10:21-24

Date posted: December 4, 2018

Let us all remember that we are in the Holy Presence of God.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Gospel: Luke 10:21-24
In that same hour he rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said, “I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these  things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to infants; yes, Father, for such was your gracious will. All things have been delivered to me by my Father; and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, or who the Father is except the Son and  any one to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.” Then turning to the disciples he said privately, “Blessed are the eyes which see what you see! For I tell you that many prophets and kings desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.”

REFLECTION
Who rules our life? The Gospel reminds us to let the Father, Lord of heaven and earth rules us. If this will happen, we can easily attribute the events of our life as a will of Him who wished us to be saved. We can also hear what we need to hear in order to make our lives patterned to what He wishes. Thus, it suggests us to take away from us all things that hinder us from allowing Him to rule our life.

Lasallian Guiding Principle
LGP states that, “…communion as a way of accomplishing mission suggests the solidarity and collaboration that come from sharing in one vision, one spirit and one mission.” We, the children of God must help one another to accomplish our mission here on earth; Becoming United, Having the same Vision and Mission will help us grow to become better person living on earth. Even though we are all different; as the children of God we are one and we are all responsible for everyone who needs help. “Each of us can make a difference. Together we make change.” –Barbara Mikulski
