Gospel: Luke 12, 8-12
Jesus said to his disciples: “I tell you, everyone who acknowledges me before others the Son of Man will acknowledge before the angels of God. But whoever denies me before others will be denied before the angels of God. Everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but the one who blasphemes against the holy Spirit will not be forgiven. When they take you before synagogues and before rulers and authorities, do not worry about how or what your defense will be or about what you are to say. For the holy Spirit will teach you at that moment what you should say.”

Reflection
As Christians, we slowly discover ourselves as “imperfect beings” especially when we try to explore the peripherals of the world. We learn, that most of the time, we are distorted by the demands of daily life and by that we quickly break into our weaknesses and cry for help. But we must be reminded that (according to Aaron Adajar) “God’s processes always requires wrecking your[our] plans before your[our] plans wreck you[us].” Faith is something that will exceptionally help us get through all those demands for we get to go places only by God’s grace; that is why we must never be ashamed of proclaiming God and His plan of salvation, we must never deny the existence of Jesus in our hearts. He lives within us and we all know that.
How do we make God known?

Lasallian Guiding Principle
LGP states that, “…the spirit of faith is a spirit that allows one to trust in God’s loving presence and providence when acting God’s will.” “Though the path is narrow, it is lined with grace, you belong on this journey, you are not out of place” – Morgan Harper Nichols. Most of the time we question the scheme of things in our path, the pain and the sorrows because most of the time we tend to put periods(.) where God places commas(,). The strength that we lack to be able to reach to our destination despite of our failures is faith. Building one’s faith is a major component of the Lasallian institution, it hones an individual into becoming a better version of itself through excellence in the accordance of to the will of God. By faith, God’s loving binds all our broken pieces to make ourselves whole and to be able to proclaim His name.

Prayer
Lord, we ask for guidance in giving us the strength of conquering our failures everyday. We may always be shaky and fearful but deep within our hearts our faith is enveloped with overflowing love and trust. We trust on your plan more than we trust our most delicate plans; at the end of the day, we surrender everything to Your name. We ask for Your loving presence to understand our sins and that we are far from perfect but with You, we feel saved. Help us to carry out your plan and to deliver ourselves to the best of our ability. AMEN.

Lasallian Prayer for Peace
We pray to you, O Lord,
God of life and God of those who hope!
Listen to our prayer for the whole world:
For peace among all peoples,
For prosperity in all lands.
We pray to you that evil may be overcome
And that all wars may end.
We pray to You especially for the members
Of our Lasallian Family,
Who suffer from war, injustice and intolerance,
And for children and young people who are poor ad neglected.
We pray too, God, for peace in our lives;
In our towns, in our schools,
In our families and in our own hearts.
We pray for a peace that the world cannot give us.
We pray for a peace that will make us whole
And transform us into ambassadors of justice for Your sake.
Lord, give us Your peace! Amen.
Our Lady of the Star, pray for us.
St. John Baptist de la Salle, pray for us.
St. Miguel Febres Cordero, pray for us.
Live Jesus in our hearts, forever!
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
