Let us all remember that we are in the Holy presence of God.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Asked by the Pharisees when the Kingdom of God would come, Jesus said in reply, “The coming of the Kingdom of God cannot be observed, and no one will announce, ‘Look, here it is’; or, ‘There it is.’ For behold, the kingdom of God is among you.
In this gospel, Jesus narrates about the coming of the Kingdom of God. Its coming is unpredictable and unannounced. We were reminded to be alert and prepared anytime. We are encouraged to do good to enter His kingdom. How can you prepare for the coming of the Kingdom of God?
Lasallian Guiding Principle
As stated in the Lasallian Guiding Principles, “…the spirit of faith is a spirit that allows one to search for God’s will in order to carry out His saving plan.” As Lasallians, we are encouraged to allow the spirit of faith work within us as we commit ourselves to our vocation. We share in the vocation-mission of St. La Salle, which is to educate the young children and be God’s instrument to share the good news to everyone.
One Life Prayer
You love us and offer us the gift of association.
You call us to live with joy
You invite us to be people with a creative inner life
Lord, grant us your strength for a life full of meaning
Fill us with your grace so that we will live the values of the gospel.
Our inner life will grow
And that we will be credible witnesses
Together with the entire Lasallian Family
In the midst of our world.
We make this prayer through the intercession of Mary
Queen and Mother of the Christian Schools, and through
The intercession of Saint John Baptist de La Salle, patron of teachers. Amen.
Our Lady of the Star, pray for us.
