Luke 21:5-6
Date posted: November 26, 2019Let us all remember that we are in the Holy presence of God.

Luke 21:5-6
When some were talking about the Temple, remarking how it was adorned with fine stonework and votive offerings, he said, “All these things you are staring at now — the time will come when not a single stone will be left on another; everything will be destroyed.”
Reflection
In the Gospel, Jesus told his disciples that everything on earth will not last because there will come a time when everything we build will be destroyed. However, we are reminded not be afraid and always be prepared by doing good and continuing the mission of Christ. What are those things that we do which are of spiritual value to us?
Lasallian Guiding Principle
As stated in the LGP, “…the Spirit of Faith is a spirit that allows one to trust in God’s loving presence and providence when acting God’s will.” In relation with the gospel, we are challenged to share the fullest of our potentials and avoiding worldly attachment in our life. Like SJBDLS who sacrificed his own wealth and personal needs, we are called to continue our mission in sharing our gifts and talents to the people who are least, lost, and last.
One Life Prayer
Holy Spirit
You love us and offer us the gift of association.
You call us to live with joy
You invite us to be people with a creative inner life
Lord, grant us your strength for a life full of meaning
Fill us with your grace so that we will live the values of the gospel.
Our inner life will grow
And that we will be credible witnesses
Together with the entire Lasallian Family
In the midst of our world.
We make this prayer through the intercession of Mary
Queen and Mother of the Christian Schools, and through
The intercession of Saint John Baptist de La Salle, patron of teachers. Amen.
Our Lady of the Star, pray for us.
St. John Baptist de La Salle, pray for us.
St. Miguel Febres Cordero, pray for us.
Live Jesus in our hearts, forever!
In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
