Luke 23:35-43

Date posted: November 24, 2019

Let us all remember that we are in the Holy presence of God.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Luke 23:35-43
“Have you no fear of God, for you are subject to the same condemnation? And indeed, we have been condemned justly, for the sentence we received corresponds to our crimes, but this man has one nothing criminal.” Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.”
He replied to him, “Amen, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise.”

Reflection
Do we believe in Jesus and his greatness? Jesus did nothing but good. He sacrificed himself to save us from all our sins. We are saved already. We should be grateful for this and in return, be faithful servants of the Lord by being a good role model and an inspiration to others. What are those little sacrifices we did to inherit the Kingdom of God?

Lasallian Guiding Principle
As stated in the Lasallian Guiding Principles, “the spirit of faith is a spirit that allows one to constantly desire to exhibit manners that are inspiring.” It is an unconscious nature that people follow or copy what good they see in other people. One act of kindness can always make a difference not just to those who benefited but also to those who have seen such kindness.

One Life Prayer
Holy Spirit
You love us and offer us the gift of association.
You call us to live with joy
You invite us to be people with a creative inner life
Lord, grant us your strength for a life full of meaning
Fill us with your grace so that we will live the values of the gospel.
Our inner life will grow
And that we will be credible witnesses
Together with the entire Lasallian Family
In the midst of our world.
We make this prayer through the intercession of Mary
Queen and Mother of the Christian Schools, and through
The intercession of Saint John Baptist de La Salle, patron of teachers. Amen.

Our Lady of the Star, pray for us.
St. John Baptist de La Salle, pray for us.
St. Miguel Febres Cordero, pray for us.
Live Jesus in our hearts, forever!
In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
