Mark 16:15-18

Date posted: January 25, 2019

Let us all remember that we are in the Holy Presence of God.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Gospel: Mark 16:15- 18
He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.    And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.”

Reflection
The Gospel tells us to spread the God’s teachings for all who believe will be saved. Believers can also be healers and exorcists, for Jesus is the one acting in them. Everything will be alright for people who trust in Him. Problems may come but it will just pass away. They are to be considered as challenges of life. Do we want to be a Christ for others?

Lasallian Guiding Principle
LGP states that, “…communion as a way of accomplishing mission suggests the solidarity and collaboration that come from sharing in one vision, one spirit and one mission.” As Lasallians, we are called to share and preach the word of God. In doing this small act we can help a lot of people who needs it especially those who are going in the wrong path. This act can save and direct them back to the lord where they will be saved from every evil and harm. Furthermore, this act can also help them change their wrong acts. By this change, they can also affect others to join them and be back to the Lord for we share one mission and vision as one family.

Prayer
Almighty Father, help us appreciate everything that is around us. May you grant us your unconditional love and guidance for us to share you words and learn from it in doing so. There are times where we question your presence especially when we are at our lowest but now, we ask for forgiveness. This we pray, in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Our Lady of the Star, pray for us.
St. John Baptist De La Salle, pray for us.
