Mark 3:7-12

Date posted: January 23, 2020

Let us all remember that we are in the Holy presence of God.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Mark 3:7-12
He told his disciples to have a boat ready for him because of the crowd, so that they would not crush him. He had
cured many and, as a result, those who had diseases were pressing upon him to touch him. And whenever unclean
spirits saw him they would fall down before him and shout, “You are the Son of God.” He warned them sternly not to
make him known.

Reflection
The gospel was referring to the mission that Jesus has in his life which is to preach and to heal the people in his most
humble way. His work was not to show off his power and His identity. Like Jesus, how do we share the God’s mission
to others?

Lasallian Guiding Principle
LGP states that, “…the communion in mission is a spirit that allows one to trust one another…” obedience.” It simply
says that the more you sacrifice yourself to help the poor or your neighbors, the more connection you will have in
fulfilling your mission. As Lasallians, we must be more willing to accept, trust, and embrace God’s mission for this what our Father Founder planted to each one of us, to nurture the life of every person we serve.

at the center of most misunderstandings and conflicts.
Make us instruments of Your Light, Love and Peace.
Guide us to walk always in Your Path and be a
