Matthew 13:44-46

Let us all remember that we are in the Holy Presence of God.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Matthew 13:44-46
‘The kingdom of Heaven is like treasure hidden in a field which someone has found;
he hides it again, goes off in his joy, sells everything he owns and buys the field.
‘Again, the kingdom of Heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls;
when he finds one of great value he goes and sells everything he owns and buys it.

Reflection
The whole creation reflects God’s goodness, reflects the very presence of God. Those who love God love the environment. Some climbers find God in the beautiful sunset and sunrise. Some experience Him in the still waters. The gospel challenges us, do we find delight and joy in God’s presence?

Lord Jesus, You love us all and make us your brothers and sisters. You call us to follow you.
You invite us to announce the Good News. Lord, grant us the courage to live our commitment.
Teach us to go beyond our borders. Teach us to discover you in the lowliest.
Teach us to see with the eyes of faith. Teach us to share our mission with all Lasallians throughout the whole world. We make this prayer through the intercession of Mary, Queen and Mother of the Christian
Schools, and through the intercession of St. John Baptist de La Salle, patron of teachers. Amen.
