Centered on the theme “Extending the Frontiers of Caring throughout the Seasons”, the staff nurses, midwives, and nursing auxiliaries of the De La Salle University Medical Center Nursing Service Department (NSD) celebrated their 13th Annual Nightingales’ Moment last November 5 and 6, 2015.
The first day of the event started with a mass presided by Rev. Father Aloysius Cosina followed by the awarding of deserving nurses and midwives who showed exemplary performance and professionalism in the different categories of excellence. All units under NSD joined in the team-building games and activities where competing clusters were formed. The activities tested the problem-solving skills and camaraderie of the participants.
The much-awaited second night gathering held at De La Salle Villarosa Convention Hall was graced by the staff wearing glamorous attires following the theme of the four seasons: winter, spring, summer, and fall. The event showcased the different talents of the staff, clerks, secretaries, head nurses, administrators, and nursing supervisors. The event was capped with a song led by Sr. Ma. Jessica J. Formacion, SPC, Nursing Service Administrator. Another round of awards was given for the Stars of the Night, The Best Dressed Cluster, Team Building Awards, and Outstanding Quality Improvement Study during the party after all the exciting activities.
