Patient Safety Days at DLSUMC

De La Salle University Medical Center celebrated the National Patient Safety Days last June 25 to June 27, 2018, with the theme, “DLSUMC is where Patient Safety comes first because the Patient is our Family”.

The Patient Safety Office of DLSUMC had a booth set-up where participants can enjoy fun-filled activities while learning how to contribute in ensuring patient safety.

A multi-disciplinary conference was held on June 27, focusing on Patient Safety Issues and Concerns. Medical consultants, residents, clinical clerks and nurses attended the event.

Also, units with the most number of reported patient safety incidents were given special recognition. The top two reporting units were the Medical Intensive Care Unit and 1400 Nursing Unit.
