In-House development of Program Applications and Web Development
Database Management
Information Technology Training
Technical Support Services for the computer laboratories and individual workstations of the academic staff, students and healthcare professionals
The ICT of De La Salle Health Sciences Institute was established to provide responsive IT services to meet the information needs and computerization requirements of the various departments within the Institute.
ICT is divided into 3 units: the Information System Unit (ISU), the Technical Services Unit (TSU), and the Network Operation Unit (NOU).
ISU develops system programs for the Institution, administers major databases for the needs of the De La Salle University Medical Center and colleges, conducts trainings/orientations related to the systems used, maintains and monitors the daily status of database records and develops/updates the website and other related web pages of DLSHSI.
TSU diagnoses and solves user microcomputer hardware and software problems, conducts repairs and preventive maintenance of computers, printers and peripherals to the logic board level, assists end-users in computer related problems and spearheads configuration of workstations for network access. Furthermore,
under this unit are the network and server administrators who are responsible for the configuration/installation of the network infrastructure of the entire institution and configuration of the wifi access. It also handles video and photo documentation of all official functions of the Institution and helps requesting departments produce official AV materials including edited AV materials.
NOU diagnoses and solves telecommunication problems.
