Fresh from the signing of an MOU with Dongseo University’s Department of Radiological Technology in February, DLSHSI’s College of Medical Radiation Technology played host to 10 (ten) students, accompanied by faculty and staff from Dongseo University between June 25 to 27, 2017.

The Dongseo team was on campus to learn basic English communication skills through DLSHSI’s Center for Language Training and Professional Development (CLTPD). They also had briefings and lectures with DLSHSI’s Office of Comprehensive Community Health Training Program (CCHTP) to prepare for the team’s planned community outreach activity in Palawan. They also had an opportunity to interact with DLSHSI students who accompanied them as they toured the campus. The visit was organized by CMRT to enhance the students’ awareness of the Filipino culture.

The MOU between DLSHSI-CMRT and Dongseo University allows the two schools to engage in joint activities that aim to expand the career options and professional development of students from both schools, as well as their academic and clinical faculty.

Dongseo University is a leading university in Busan, South Korea. The University is top 7 nationally in career placement and has a strong commitment to industry-academia cooperation to provide its students with the practical skills they need to succeed in the workplace.
