Faculty members are often the first to notice medical problems and the College of Humanities and Sciences saw it best to ensure that their faculty and staff have the necessary basic skills for them to respond in emergency situations.

So on June 15-17, the college conducted a 3-day training workshop for all the faculty and staff on basic care and first aid training, organized by the Philippine Red Cross-Cavite Chapter and CHS Administrators headed by the newly appointed Dean, Dr. Edwardo Tibayan, Jr.

The training aims to equip all the faculty members and staff with knowledge and skills in providing care for a person who has been injured and in managing a person who has a breathing or heartbeat problem.
