June 17 was officially declared by the Provincial Governor of Cavite, Honorable Jonvic Remulla, as “Green and White Day,” in commemoration of the day the Lasallian community in Cavite and its friends and supporters formed a better, bigger, brighter and bolder Human Lasallian Star, a testament of the community’s commitment to making Lasallian education accessible to every Filipino youth.

Thus, on this day, thousands of people wearing either green or white gathered at the DLSU-D grandstand to stand for the goal of raising 2.5 million pesos for the One La Salle Scholarship Fund.

Through the efforts of both the De La Salle Health Sciences Institute and the De La Salle University- Dasmariñas more than 20,000 participants, including Lasallian celebrities like Jodi Sta. Maria, were on hand to form the biggest Human Lasallian Star.
