The De La Salle Health Sciences Institute leadership team finished their mini MBA course with flying colors.


Center for Continuing Education in the Health Profession director Dr. Shirard Adiviso was conferred the Director’s Award for Academic Excellence, which is given to students who garner a total weighted average of 3.5 and above and have a perfect attendance record. Dr. Adiviso’s total weighted average is 3.81.


Meanwhile, the three other members of the DLSHSI team, De La Salle University Medical Center (DLSUMC) Medical Director Dr. Gary Carlos; DLSUMC Director for Administrative Services Sr. Elvira Theodore I. Ibardalosa, SPC; and Dr. Martin Luna E.A.S. all received academic citations for turning in a quality point index of 3.50 and maintained at least an 80% attendance record.


The Leadership and Management Development Program (LMDP), is a well-structured mini MBA course which was developed for hospital administrators. It is a 32-meeting program which includes the following modules: Health Care Business Communication, Business Process Improvement, People Management Financial Management, Strategic System Thinking, and Leadership Management.  This program was conceptualized by the Ateneo Graduate Business School, with the Asian Hospital and Medical Center and was held on September 20, 2012 up to April 22, 2013.
