DLSMHSI is 2nd/4th Best Performing School; 6 alumni in the Top 10 of PT/OT licensure exams

De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute is the second best performing Occupational Therapy school and fourth best performing Physical Therapy school during the February 2019 Physical Therapist and Occupational Therapist Licensure Examinations.

And joining the elite roster of alumni are five PT and one OT graduate from the College of Rehabilitation Sciences who made it to the top 10 of examinees.

Marlou Del Nera Tarranco, PTRP claimed the 2nd spot with a score of 86.00%, Jeuz Jez Reel Velante Escanilla, PTRP notched the 3rd place with a score of 85.85%, Kim Louijie Rabino Lacsao, PTRP placed 5th with a score of 85.40%, Myrel Andrea Faustino Ramos, PTRP ranked 7th with a score of 84.85%, and in the 10th place is Marilei Larosa Martinez, PTRP with a score of 84.50%. The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced a national passing rate of 59.98% for PT while DLSMHSI posted a passing rate of 84.38%.

Meanwhile, in the Occupational Therapist Licensure Examination, Wynona Arcartado, OTRP claimed the 10th place with a score of 80.40%. DLSMHSI’s overall passing rate in Occupational Therapy is 80.56% while PRC announced a national passing rate of 57.81%.
