DLSMHSI’s offices for Lasallian Formation and Social Action and Campus Ministry, together with volunteer students and employees visited Brgy. Capipisa in Tanza Cavite on August 18, 2018 to distribute the relief goods that were collected from the DLSMHSI community. Among those in the relief bags were ready to eat food, drinking water, and personal toiletries.

The 101 beneficiary families were hard hit by floodings brought by Typhoon Karding and the Habagat rains in the past days. The entire province of Cavite was under a state of calamity for days following the onslaught of the monsoon rains that were intensified by the typhoon. Aside from Tanza, the cities of Cavite, Imus, and Bacoor, and towns of Noveleta, Tanza, Rosario, and Silang were flooded for days.
