Guinness World Records in London has officially recognized the world record on the “Largest Tinikling Dance” set by the alumni of DLSHSI’s College of Rehabilitation Sciences (CRS) during their fund-raising event on January 18 this year at the AT&T Dallas Cowboy Stadium in Texas USA. The event encouraged people to dance the Tinikling simultaneously to raise funds for DLSHSI’s Center for Children with Disabilities (CWD) and the rehabilitation efforts for the survivors of Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda).

“We are delighted to confirm that you have successfully achieved a new GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title for ’Largest Tinikling Dance’. We would like to congratulate you on your record-breaking achievement. You are OFFICIALLY AMAZING,” says part of the letter from Guinness.

CRS Dean Dr. Ma Cecilia Licuan shared the news with the community and congratulated the Physical Therapy alumni who organized and participated in the event.

“Thank you to all PT alumni who organized this momentous event. Hail to CWD advocates! Hail to De La Salle!” says Dr. Licuan.
