THE LASALLIAN GUADALUPE PROJECT: FIGHTING FOR THE UNBORN

March 28, 2019 | 9:36 am

DLSMHSI’s Lasallian Formation and Social Action Office started the year the best way it knows how – encouraging more people to pursue the Lasallian mission of caring for the lost, the last, and the least.

With them were Grade 12 Section 10 students from DLSMHSI’s Special Health Sciences Senior High School who brought gifts for the children of Mother Theresa Spinelli and Treasures (MTST) in Iruhin West, Tagaytay City on January 16, 2019. The gifts, which include unused clothes, toys, baby’s essential needs such as milk, diaper, and baby bathtub were donations from the DLSMHSI community gathered as part of the Lasallian Guadalupe Project which aims to put a spotlight on the advocacy for the unborn. The Guadalupe Project encourages the community to pray for the end of abortion practices through the Our Lady of Guadalupe, the patroness of the unborn.

For months now since August 2018, the image of the Our Lady of Guadalupe has been visiting offices here at DLSMHSI to touch the hearts of the members of each office to offer prayers for the unborn and gifts for children living in orphanages.
