About the College
The Doctor of Medicine program of the DLSHSI provides quality medical education which promotes academic excellence, scholarliness, scientific attitude, and socially-relevant experiences dedicated in keeping a tradition of excellence in producing board top-notchers among its students.
Medical education at DLSHSI is values-driven, community-oriented, patiernt-centered, and information technology-based.The students are trained at the De La Salle University Medical Center, a 250-bed capacity tertiary hospital, the largest in Region IV and the Philippines' First ISO 9001 Certified, with fully accredited training programs in various clinical specialties. The medical curriculum implemented is integrated, problem and community-oriented, delivered in four (4) years of structured teaching learning activities.
The College offers a SPECIAL SIX-YEAR MEDICAL PROGRAM, through a preparatory B.S. Human Biology course at De La Salle University in Manila which shortens the academic medical program by two (2) years.
The College also has a tie - up with De La Salle University - Dasmariñas through a three - year preparatory B.S. Medical Biology course which shortens the program by one (1) year.
