The Angelo King Medical Research Center, a division of the De La Salle Health Sciences Institute, is a center for healthcare research engaged in basic and clinical research as well as research services, research training, conference and publication, and research-based service with product development. It differentiates itself from other research institutions in its competence in Evidence-based Complementary and Integrative Medicine, Drug Development and Health Research for the Youth at Risk.
Research services are available for herbal and other traditional or indigenous medicine, alternative nutrition, massage, acupuncture, mind-body interventions such as yoga and other alternative healing modalities.
An established site for the for international clinical trials, it has positioned itself as a contract research organization for local pharmaceutical companies.
It has the capability of conducting phase I to IV clinical trials.
