Through the efforts of Vice Chancellor for Academics Dr. Juanito O. Cabanias and Br. Sockie V. de la Rosa IV, FSC, the Library was chosen as the recipient of the Francisco R. de la Rosa, Sr. Shakespeare Collections. It is composed of around one hundred anthologies, dramas, and studies of William Shakespeare. The collection was carefully collected and maintained by Francisco R. De La Rosa, Sr., a judge, literary enthusiast, musician, and painter.
A modest ceremony was held on March 16, 2017 at the Allied Health and Reference Section, second floor of the library, to mark the turn-over of the collections. It was attended by Dr. Cabanias, Fr. Sockie, Library Director Efren M. Torres, Jr., administrators, faculty members, librarians, and staff. RPAMDLS appreciates this literary treasure as a valuable addition to its collection, which students and faculty members would equally find significant and interesting.
