Scholarship Program and Development Center (SPDC)

The Scholarship Program and Development of De La Salle Health Sciences Institute is a response to the thrust of De La Salle Philippines, Inc. to give students access to Lasallian health sciences education. The institute extends its financial and developmental assistance to deserving students.

General Policies/Requirements

TYPES OF SCHOLARSHIPS OFFERED:

  1. Entrance Scholarship
  2. Academic Scholarship
  3. Financial Grant
  4. Service Scholarship
Requirements:
  1. Entrance Scholarship
    1. Newly admitted regular student
    2. Filipino citizen and resident of the Philippines
    3. High School Valedictorian or Salutatorian
    4. No record of violation from previous school and community
  2. Academic Scholarship
    1. Regular student
    2. Filipino citizen and resident of the Philippines
    3. Minimum grade requirement of 82 (1.75) per subject
    4. General weighted average (GWA) of 93 (3.25) or higher for 1st and 2nd year applicants
    5. General weighted average (GWA) of 85 (2.25) or higher for 3rd,4th, and 5th year applicants
    6. No record of violation from the Office of Student Services and community
  3. Financial Grant
    1. Regular student
    2. Filipino citizen and resident of the Philippines
    3. Annual family gross income of 200,000 Php or less
    4. Minimum grade requirement of 77 (1.25) per subject
    5. General Weighted Average (GWA) of 79 (1.50) or higher
    6. Recommended by the College Dean
    7. No record of violation from the Office of Student Services and community
    8. Should pass the background check and interview of the scholarship committee
  4. Service Scholarship
    1. Regular student
    2. Should be at least on the 2nd year of playing as varsity of the institution
    3. With good academic standing having grades not lower than 82 (1.75) in all subjects
    4. Should pass the Varsity Point Scoring (VPS) Checklist of the Sports Director with a rating of 79% or higher
    5. Recommended by the Dean of Student Services and College Dean
    6. No record of violation from the Office of Student Services and community


HOW TO APPLY

  2. Complete all requirements stated in the application form and submit to the Office of the Director for Academic Services.
