DLSMHSI posts outstanding performance in recent licensure examinations

The graduates of DLSMHSI College of Allied Sciences posted a commendable performance in the twin licensure examinations in October 2022, garnering an overall passing rate of 77.78% and passing rate for first-time takers of 85.71% in the Chemist Licensure Examination. The national passing rate is 38.35%. On the other hand, DLSMHSI achieved 100% passing rate in the Chemical Technician Licensure Examination.

Congratulations to the administrators, academic teaching faculty and non-teaching personnel of the College of Allied Sciences and the new Lasallian chemists and chemical technicians!


Colleges conduct echo seminars of AUN-QA SAR training

After the recently concluded 2nd ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance Self-Assessment Report (AUN-QA SAR) version 4.0 training spearheaded by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Academics (OVCA) in partnership with the Academic Quality Management (AQM) last September 19-22, 2022, three colleges have already conducted their echo seminars in preparation for the writing of their respective executive summary and self-assessment report. These documents shall be reviewed by the AQM before the actual submission to AUN-QA for the application of programme assessment.

  • College of Medicine: October 17, 2022
The College of Allied Sciences has submitted the executive summary of the BS Biochemistry programme on October 24, 2022 to AQM for initial review. The College of Medicine is currently collecting data for the preparation of their executive summary.

DLSMHSI now ready for hyflex learning through smart classrooms

The Center for Innovative Education and Technology Integration (CIETI) has announced that the equipment for the smart classroom set-up has been approved and the procurement is underway. Two (2) classrooms shall be converted where the following equipment shall be set-up to be used by Academics for hyflex learning:

LASO holds various activities
The Lasallian Admission and Scholarship Opportunities (LASO) has conducted the following activities for beneficiary schools, scholars, advisers and guidance counselors:

HeALS Outreach Program
A total of 216 school supplies from DLSMHSI scholars and 300 armchairs from the College of Rehabilitation Sciences were donated to Taywanak Elementary School in Alfonso and Pulo ni Sara Elementary School in Maragondon on October 14, 2022.

HeALS General Assembly
The General Assembly of the Health Assembly of Lasallian Scholars (HeALS) was held on October 21, 2022 via hyflex mode. The onsite program was conducted at Villarosa Convention Hall while the online program was streamed via Webex. The new officers was also inducted during the program.

LASO Free Webinar
LASO hosted a free webinar for grades 9-12 advisers and guidance counselors entitled “Post-traumatic growth in a post-pandemic world: coping with stress, anxiety and depression” on October 29, 2022. Mr. Michael Jimenez, RPsy, RN, LPT, MBA. MAPsy was invited as the resource speaker.
