- The light bulb signifies intellectual property which is defined as the creation of new, creative and innovative ideas.
- The pen/ pencil signifies the CIP which is also committed to be nurturers of discoveries through generating literary works whether research publications,
- processes, etc.
- The paint brush signifies the artistic works which the Lasallian Community may produce through creative and innovative engagements.
- The stamp signifies the CIP’s aims and objectives to assist the Lasallian Community in IP concerns, IP issues, copyright, trademarks, etc.
- The people holding holds signify the Institute being nurturers of the community by promoting linkages with the Lasallian Community and extending it to different
- universities/organizations. The green human figure at the middle represents the Institute as a leader in Intellectual Property implementation. It also reflects
- its goal to be a leading institution in terms of implementing and administering Intellectual Property Rights Policies and other IP services.
- The Signum Fidei star, the five-pointed star signifies the sign of faith and the symbol of the La Salle Brothers. The colors of the stars, green and white
- represent benevolence, civility, humanitarianism, service-oriented goals, and scientific pursuit.
- The Green Laurels are the Gloria Et Honor Laurel that signify inspiration for quality education.
