Center for Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics


The Center for Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics (CCEB) is guided by four objectives:

  • encourage research by the Lasallian medical community that promotes rational and holistic clinical practice
  • encourage clinicians to incorporate evidence from valid research into their clinical practice
  • motivate medical students and trainees to read and do relevant research
  • advocate for the adoption of an effective and efficient health care strategies and technologies into health policy.

The Center is composed of professionals who are trained in clinical epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, health informatics as well as health economics and social health; while its medical specialists cover all clinical specialties – pediatrics, internal medicine, community medicine, and surgery manning the three sections of the Center:

Research Productivity and Quality Assurance (RPQA).
