John 6:65

Date posted: May 2, 2020

Let us all remember that we are in the Holy Presence of God.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

John 6:65
And he said, “For this reason I have told you that no one can come to me unless it is granted him by my
Father.”

Reflection
The gospel tells us to live by God’s words and always trust in His plan. We should always have faith in
God no matter what the situation is. Faith is a gift which God freely gives to those who listen to his word
and who put their trust in him. It is a personal response to God’s revelation of himself. It is based on the
truth and reliability of God’s word. How do we entrust our life to God in the midst of COVID 19 pandemic?
What can we do to strengthen our faith in this situation?

Lasallian Guiding Principle
LGP states that, Zeal is… “a passionate commitment to realize God’s will…” We always remember that
God is with us in all the things we do. Despite all the hardships in studying, we do not lose hope because
we know that God is always there to guide us. As Lasallians, we are encouraging to use the Word of God
as inspiration in life. These Words serve as something which helps us get through each day without having
worries, doubts, or fears.

Oratio Imperata Against the COVID-19
God our Father, we come to You in our need to ask Your protection
against the COVID-19 that has disturbed us and claimed many lives.
We pray that You guide the people tasked
to find cure for this disease and to stem its transmission.
Protect the medical experts and healthcare personnel
that they may minister to the sick with competence and compassion.
We pray for those afflicted, may they be restored to health soon.
Protect those who care for them.
Grant eternal rest to those who have died.
Give us grace in this trying time to work for the good of all and to help those in need.
We implore You to stop the spread of this virus and to save us from our fears.
Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son
who lives and reigns with You, in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God forever and ever. Amen.
Our Lady of the Star, pray for us!
St. John Baptist de La Salle, pray for us!
St. Miguel Febres Cordero, pray for us!
Live Jesus in our hearts, forever!
In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
