Luke 9:48

Let us all remember that we are in the Holy Presence of God.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Luke 9:48
Then he said to them, “Whoever welcomes this little child in my name welcomes me; and whoever
welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me. For it is the one who is least among you all who is
the greatest.”

Reflection
The child in the gospel may represent those unfortunate people who have less contribution in the
community. In many times, they were set aside because the main concern of many is how to make
their own life better. But as Christians, we should remember that God is asking us to open our hearts
to those who are in need, because in doing so, we are also welcoming Him in our lives. How do you
take part in uplifting the life of others?

Lasallian Guiding Principle
As stated in the LGP, the spirit of faith allows us to discover God in everything we see, feel, and
interact with. As Lasallians, we are challenged to actively participate in promoting the quality of life
which must be rooted in faith. And let the Holy Spirit be our guide, so that our actions will always be
towards giving glory to God.

Oratio Imperata Against the COVID-19
God our Father, we come to You in our need to ask Your protection
against the COVID-19 that has disturbed us and claimed many lives.
We pray that You guide the people tasked
to find cure for this disease and to stem its transmission.
Protect the medical experts and healthcare personnel
that they may minister to the sick with competence and compassion.
We pray for those afflicted, may they be restored to health soon.
Protect those who care for them.
Grant eternal rest to those who have died.
Give us grace in this trying time to work for the good of all and to help those in need.
We implore You to stop the spread of this virus and to save us from our fears.
Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son
who lives and reigns with You, in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God forever and ever. Amen.
