Gospel: Mark 3:20-21
“Then Jesus entered a house, and again a crowd gathered, so that he and his disciples were not even able to eat. When his family heard about this, they went to take charge of him, for they said, “He is out of his mind.”
Reflection
There are situations in our lives wherein our families don’t approve what we want to be in the future. When we are young, we believe that we can contribute something for the world. Probably the reason why Jesus’ family thought that he’s out of his mind is because they failed to understand His real nature. They thought that his decisions are absurd and they were afraid of what will happen to him. Jesus proved to them that It was the will of God that He was doing thus it is the right thing. May this gospel be an inspiration for all of us to keep sharing the good news to everyone, especially those who are in the darkness. That no matter how many people think we are crazy for the things we are doing, as long as we know we are right, we should continue our good works.
Lasallian Guiding Principle
LGP states that, “…communion as a way of accomplishing mission suggests the solidarity and collaboration that come from sharing in one vision, one spirit and one mission.” As a member of the country, we should work with other people and organizations to help them meet their goals in life. We should not mind who we are or what we are but rather we should keep in mind that, we are one reaching for the goal of making our country in peace and a better country to live in.
Prayer
Dear Lord, thank you for the day. We extol your greatness. We are sorry for the way we complain about our circumstances. Thank you for taking away our fears and worries and for reminding us that there is one God who will help us in everything. Open our eyes to see the gifts you’ve given in our life. We pray that our faith will be strengthened. Help us to learn how to face every challenge in our lives. Thank you for your unending love for us everyday. This we pray, in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
