Matthew 10:29-31

Date posted: July 11, 2020

Let us all remember that we are in the Holy Presence of God.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Matthew 10:29-31
Are not two sparrows sold for a small coin? Yet not one of them falls to the ground without your Father’s knowledge.
Even all the hairs of your head are counted.
So do not be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.

Reflection
“Do not be afraid.” In this time of pandemic, we need to hear this repeatedly because we are afraid of so many things.
But, yes, God is alive and He assures us that He continues to give His blessings even in times of crisis. God created
human beings to have great value. What makes us really special and unique?

Lasallian Guiding Principle
LGP states that, “Lasallian learners are unique and gifted individuals who take progressive responsibility for their own learning and development.” Part of this progressive responsibility is safeguarding confidentiality. Nowadays, with advanced technology, this is very important that everyone feels safe to share their concerns and request help when needed without jeopardizing their safety especially the safety of students. As Lasallians, we practice transparency and we also uphold confidentiality except under certain specific circumstances.

Oratio Imperata Against the COVID-19
God our Father, we come to You in our need to ask Your protection
against the COVID-19 that has disturbed us and claimed many lives.
We pray that You guide the people tasked
to find cure for this disease and to stem its transmission.
Protect the medical experts and healthcare personnel
that they may minister to the sick with competence and compassion.
We pray for those afflicted, may they be restored to health soon.
Protect those who care for them.
Grant eternal rest to those who have died.
Give us grace in this trying time to work for the good of all and to help those in need.
We implore You to stop the spread of this virus and to save us from our fears.
Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son
who lives and reigns with You, in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God forever and ever. Amen.
Our Lady of the Star, pray for us!
St. John Baptist de La Salle, pray for us!
St. Miguel Febres Cordero, pray for us!
Live Jesus in our hearts, forever!
In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
