Matthew 7:1-5

Date posted: June 23, 2020

Let us all remember that we are in the Holy Presence of God.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Matthew 7:1-5
Jesus said to his disciples: “Stop judging, that you may not be judged. For as you judge, so will you be
judged, and the measure with which you measure will be measured out to you.”

Reflection
The gospel tells us not to be judgmental based on appearances or gestures. We should be kind and humble
to all people. We should look always beyond our own imperfections before we judge others’ fault or
mistakes. Be courteous, have enough respect and try to address each other’s needs. Let us help them
grow and succeed. Why are we judgmental? Where is it coming from?

Lasallian Guiding Principle
LGP states that, “The goal of social development interventions is to preserve and bring forth the fullness of
life.” Having faith in the Lord makes us trust the path He has planned for us. Reverence for Life is our
advocacy; we have no fear in defending life because our faith in the Lord is bigger than anything. As
Lasallians, it requires us to have a loving relationship with God and see the world in the eyes of faith. Let us
put our trust in the Lord; everything will go as planned.

Oratio Imperata Against the COVID-19
God our Father, we come to You in our need to ask Your protection
against the COVID-19 that has disturbed us and claimed many lives.
We pray that You guide the people tasked
to find cure for this disease and to stem its transmission.
Protect the medical experts and healthcare personnel
that they may minister to the sick with competence and compassion.
We pray for those afflicted, may they be restored to health soon.
Protect those who care for them.
Grant eternal rest to those who have died.
Give us grace in this trying time to work for the good of all and to help those in need.
We implore You to stop the spread of this virus and to save us from our fears.
Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son
who lives and reigns with You, in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God forever and ever. Amen.
Our Lady of the Star, pray for us!
St. John Baptist de La Salle, pray for us!
St. Miguel Febres Cordero, pray for us!
Live Jesus in our hearts, forever!
In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
