Mt 28:16-20

Date posted: May 24, 2020

Let us all remember that we are in the Holy Presence of God.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Mt 28:16-20
Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they
saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in
heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing
them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything
I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Reflection
It is through Jesus Christ that we received our mission in life as the children of God. It is entrusted to us
that we live by the virtues of God, that every day in our lives, we must act as disciples, doing stewardship
and sharing God’s grace in any way we can. No matter what we do, God ensured us that He is with us. In
what way do we fulfill our mission as disciples of God? How?

Lasallian Guiding Principle
LGP states that, “Zeal is the expression of faith in service to human need.” Lasallian faith is always an
active kind of faith. This is a living faith. As such, we must nourish and nurture it. Lasallian faith is best
nurtured when we see Lasallians who are animated by the Spirit while they transform the society.

Oratio Imperata Against the COVID-19
God our Father, we come to You in our need to ask Your protection
against the COVID-19 that has disturbed us and claimed many lives.
We pray that You guide the people tasked
to find cure for this disease and to stem its transmission.
Protect the medical experts and healthcare personnel
that they may minister to the sick with competence and compassion.
We pray for those afflicted, may they be restored to health soon.
Protect those who care for them.
Grant eternal rest to those who have died.
Give us grace in this trying time to work for the good of all and to help those in need.
We implore You to stop the spread of this virus and to save us from our fears.
Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son
who lives and reigns with You, in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God forever and ever. Amen.
Our Lady of the Star, pray for us!
St. John Baptist de La Salle, pray for us!
St. Miguel Febres Cordero, pray for us!
Live Jesus in our hearts, forever!
In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
