Physical and Rehabilitation



The DLSUMC Department of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine is committed to dedicated excellence and service to patients. It consists of an expert team of Medical and Allied Medical professionals (e.g. physiatrists, physical therapists, occupational therapists and prosthetists/orthotists).

The department offers a total rehabilitation program consisting of comprehensive physical therapy and occupational therapy treatment programs which integrate skilled treatment techniques in assisting the patients’ return to their highest level of functionality. It is accredited by the Commission for Higher Education for its Physical Therapy training program.

DLSUMC is the first hospital in Cavite to offer electromyography-nerve conduction velocity (EMG-NCV).
