Best poster award for CRS faculty

DLSMHSI’s College of Rehabilitation Sciences faculty Jeanelle Louise Dumalag, MSPT, PTRP, CWAT received the Best Poster Award during the 13th World Congress on Controversies in Neurology held on April 4 to 7, 2019 at Madrid Marriott Auditorium Hotel and Conference Center in Madrid, Spain.
Professor Dumalag won the award for her e-poster abstract presentation of her study entitled “Effects
of action observation training in gait speed of stroke patients.”
This annual congress aims to provide a platform for international experts to discuss and compare experiences
on the enormous growth in clinical and basic data in neurology. This year, the congress covered topics on Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, epilepsy, headache, multiple sclerosis, neuro-immunology, pain, Parkinson’s disease, stroke, and rehabilitation and other movement disorders.
