CM SALUTES NEW LASALLIAN PHYSICIANS

DLSMHSI’s College of Medicine celebrated the newest achievement of the institution as three alumni made it to the top 10 of the September 2018 Physician Licensure Examination with a thanksgiving mass and testimonial ceremony at De La Salle Villarosa Convention Hall on November 14.

In the recent physician licensure examination, Dr. Kurl Jamora topped the exams with a score of 91.08%. He was joined in the Top 10 by two batchmates – Dr. Lloyd Christopher S. Lim at 5th place, Dr. Zoe Caitlin Z. Fernandez at 9th place.

In his remarks during the testimonials, Dr. Jamora promised that he will be a well-rounded physician with a heart for service which is one of the important lessons he learned at DLSMHSI. He shared that he is motivated to give DLSMHSI a great honor because the institution has given him a lot of opportunities.

Also, newly registered physicians learned the importance of proper handling of money from the talk of Class 2003 alumnus Jaime G. Lorenzo, Jr. MD, executive vice chairman of International Marketing Group (IMG). His talk was titled “Financial Literacy: Why doctors need financial planning.”
