De La Salle University Medical Center is home to the first and only radiation treatment facility in Cavite. Radiation Therapy (RT) is the use of high-energy radiation to treat cancers and other diseases. It is employed to destroy cancerous cells to slow tumor growth or shrink tumors and usually used in combination with surgery and/or chemotherapy.
