Luke 17, 11-19

Date posted: November 22, 2018

Let us all remember that we are in the Holy Presence of God.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Gospel: Luke 17, 11-19
As he continued his journey to Jerusalem, he traveled through Samaria and Galilee. As he was entering a village, ten lepers met [him]. They stood at a distance from him and raised their voice, saying, “Jesus, Master! Have pity on us!” And when he saw them, he said, “Go show yourselves to the priests.” As they were going they were cleansed. And one of them, realizing he had been healed, returned, glorifying God in a loud voice; and he fell at the feet of Jesus and thanked him. He was a Samaritan. Jesus said in reply, “Ten were cleansed, were they not? Where are the other nine? Has none but this foreigner returned to give thanks to God?” Then he said to him, “Stand up and go; your faith has saved you.” The Coming of the Kingdom of God.

Reflection
Most people ask to Jesus when we are in need of help with our lives or something. We ask, we wish and we beg for it to happen. But only some will say thank you. They don’t even appreciate the blessings that Jesus gave us the help the he did for us. We should learn how to always thank Jesus even if we are not asking for anything we should than him for giving us a reason to live and how we woke up today knowing that we are still alive.?

Lasallian Guiding Principle
The LGP states that The spirit of faith is a spirit that allows one to constantly desire to exhibit manners to show love, respect, equality and forgiveness to people. This people will serve as a vessel or inspiration to all the people and will give them the spirit of faith.

Prayer
Father Almighty, We humbly ask for your forgiveness for our sins whether intentional and unintentional, in our thoughts and in our words, for you are the most high and you alone are the Holy one. We will always be thankful for your never ending blessings, healing powers and forgiveness through your Son, Jesus Christ. Your love for your children is immeasurable. Please guide our faith and continue making us humble and respectful just like the leper who came back to your Son to thank him for healing them. This we ask through your holy name. Amen.
