In keeping with its goal to support the information needs of its user, the Romeo P.  Ariniego, MD, AFSC Library subscribes to a number of online databases and resources to complement its print collections.

 

ACCESSMEDICINE 

A comprehensive online medical resource that provides a complete spectrum of knowledge from the best minds in medicine, with essential information accessible anywhere.

 

ACCESSPHARMACY

A comprehensive, content-rich online pharmacy resource that allows users to explore leading pharmacy references and search curriculum topics, research drugs and supplements.

 

ACCESSPHYSIOTHERPY

A comprehensive online physiotherapy resource that integrates leading physical therapy textbooks, procedure and exercise videos, image galleries, self-assessment tools, and unique cadaver dissection tool- optimized for viewing on any device.

 

CLINICALKEY

Elsevier’s vast online portfolio of medical and surgical books and journals, all medical and surgical Clinics of North America, first consult point-of-care medical monographs, medical and surgical videos and images and over 2,000 practical guidelines.

 

CLINICALKEY NURSING

A wide range of nursing content and multimedia that support better decision making for students, educators, and nurses. Faculty has access to materials for teaching while students could use content as a supplement to the curriculum and support to the learning process.

 

COMPLETE ANATOMY

A 3D application-based platform that contains atlas, videos, cross sections, images, and other learning and teaching tools for the study of human anatomy. EBSCOHOST

A definitive, multi-disciplinary, full-text journal database that covers thousands of peer-reviewed journals in the different areas of academic study. The databases included in the subscription are: Academic Source Complete, CINAHL with FullText, and Rehabilitation and Sport Medicine Sources.

 

NETANATOMY

A resource designed to teach human anatomy to students of the health professions. It also serves as a platform to review anatomy after one’s initial exposure to the subject, e.g. student beginning a clinical rotation, USMLE (National Board) preparation, etc.

 

OVID CLINICAL EDGE

A research tool designed for physicians and medical staff that combines sophisticated search technology and full-text content from Lippincott Williams & Wilkins and MEDLINE.

 

PROQUEST

A web-based information service providing access to a number of databases covering various subject disciplines, including business and management, education, science, computing, medicine, telecommunication, and social sciences.

 

SCIENCEDIRECT

A platform that contains peer-reviewed literature of journals and e-books in health, science and technology.

 

THIEME MED ONE

A medical learning platform that provides access to Thieme’s collection of medical and life sciences textbooks for learning, review and research.

 

UPTODATE

Evidence-based content that provides information on more than 10,000 clinical topics in different medical specialties. UpToDate also includes a drug database and a list of medical calculator.

 

WILEY ONLINE LIBRARY

Collection of e-books on medicine, allied health, social sciences, humanities, science and technology, and mathematics jointly subscribed by the Mendiola Consortium and DLSP Library Consortium.
