Archbishop of Lipa bestows Episcopal Blessing on DLSUMC for its “enormous contributions during the pandemic.”

The pandemic has pointed a spotlight on how Lasallians here at De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute are living the Lasallian mission in their day-to-day work, pandemic or not.

 

And this recognition takes on another relevance when it comes in the form of an Episcopal Blessing. “The Roman Catholic Archbishop of Lipa hereby bestows, confers, and imparts the requested Episcopal Blessing to De La Salle University Medical Center, invoking an abundance of divine graces for them through the intercession of St Joseph, our principal patron, and of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Our Lady of Caysasay,” reads the text of the special blessing awarded to DLSUMC during the Golden Jubilee Year celebration of the Archbishop of Lipa. The blessing was bestowed on the healthcare workers of DLSUMC for their “enormous contributions during the pandemic.” The blessing was signed by Most Rev. Gilbert A. Garcera, D.D, Archibishop of Lipa during ceremonies held on November 30, 2022, at the National Shrine and Parish of St. Padre Pio, Sto. Tomas City, Batangas.

 

The DLSMHSI community is thankful for this recognition from the Archbishop of Lipa, which will serve as an inspiration by Lasallians here to steadfastly pursue the work that has been entrusted to them, an expression of our faith that indeed:
