Allied Health and Reference Section

The week of February 6, 2017 greeted library users with a fresh and contemporary vibe when they entered the Allied Health and Reference Section at the second floor of the library. Taking a cue from the furniture upgrade that happened in the Medicine Section on October 2015, the interior of the Allied Health and Reference Section has been transformed into a space that is bright, modern, and functional.

The mahogany shelves lined the middle and back portion of the room. Bar tables and chairs were set up between the shelves and along the windows for individual study while long tables were provided for shared study space. Laptops are scheduled to be setup in the Cybernook that features a honeycomb design and matching stools. The circulation counter was moved to be more visible when users enter the section. Other furniture details were added and colors and material were thoughtfully considered to round up the look and feel of the space.

More exciting things are planned to happen to the other library spaces to complete the best library experience that RPAMDLS can offer to its users. For now, please visit the library and take a feel of the transformed spaces. Let us know what you think by call, email, Facebook message, or tweet.
