DLSHSI is now subscribed to Mendeley Institutional Edition

The Library has recently signed an agreement that enables members of DLSHSI to have access to Mendeley Institutional Edition (MIE), a reference management system that supports research productivity and collaboration. MIE provides premium services to subscribers aside from the basic features available in the free version of Mendeley.
MIE’s value-added services include a bigger library space to store and manage references, unlimited number of private groups with up to 1,000 member per group, an analytics dashboard to track usage insight and research activities of the members of DLSHSI and 24×5 customer support from Elsevier.
To introduce the new service, a user training was held on March 28, 2017 at the Multimedia Section, third level of the library. Representatives from the different colleges and the Research Division as well as librarians attended the event. Qingyong Woon, Market Development Manager for Asia Pacific, facilitated the training. The library plans to provide a similar MIE user training to faculty members and students in the coming months.
